I chose this course as it’s a very interesting subject area and well linked to my place of work. During the course things around me at work started to make more sense. I became more aware of my surroundings and the potential within my role.

I was attracted to online learning as I could take my time and move at my own pace. Working long hours and shift work made it more convenient to work and study at the same time. For me, the key to balancing the study and work commitments is very good time management.

This is my second degree with University of Derby Online Learning. The tutors are so helpful and easy to get in touch with and always ready to help when I need it.

If I had to describe my online learning experience with UDOL I would sum it up by saying it was smooth, helpful, guided, financially suitable and very interesting.

My most memorable moment so far with UDOL was my last graduation ceremony. It was so emotional, and now I am looking forward to the next one! You get to meet your peers and tutors face to face, and words can’t describe the feeling.

My qualifications are helping me to make a difference and move healthcare forward in a positive direction. The knowledge I’ve gained is something that can never be taken from me, and I can use my knowledge both inside and outside of my workplace.

To anyone considering studying an online course with the University of Derby, I say go for it 100%.
