Embedding sustainability in value chains of public and private organisations

Developing sustainable value chains in private and public organisations are critical to achieving tangible national sustainability benefits in line with The Sustainable Development Goals and a circular economy. Professionals working across the value chain must understand the sustainability challenges facing organisations and nations and be adequately equipped with the knowledge and skills required to drive sustainability change in value chains.

As part of our commitment to the development of these sustainability skills among professionals around the world and additionally following the success of this event last year, The University of Derby in partnership with The Institute of Environmental Management (IEMA) invites intending and existing environmental professionals as well as other professionals to a free jointly accredited continuous professional development (CPD) seminar in Nigeria.

Benefits of attendance

Participants at the free seminar will get:

  • Thought leadership content on workshop theme
  • Details of the University of Derby Online Learning and IEMA Sustainability and Environmental Management programmes
  • Information on accessing exemptions and discounts in the online MSc Sustainability and Environmental Management programme

  • Networking opportunity for existing and intending IEMA members
