As the module lead for Education modules – I am also the programme co-ordinator for MA Education and the ESOL and Leadership and Management pathways. I am a multidisciplinary teacher with experience in a wide ranging portfolio of professional practice, within a variety of educational settings.
I have worked with a broad range of educational practitioners within, nursery, primary, secondary and the post 16 settings to enable an inclusive approach in course design, teaching, learning and assessment materials.
In addition, I have delivered a variety of programmes within further and higher education including post graduate levels.
I have a keen interest in promoting pedagogic with a proven track record of implementing innovative teaching, learning and assessment materials. My passion began within Early years teaching, leading to FE and HE including postgraduate studies. This enabled me to further my interest in designing and developing online programmes.
I have experience in other allied areas within Coaching and Mentoring, Early Years, Health and Social Care and Public Services. I have developed strong links and involvement with Equality and Diversity, Leadership and Management and Safeguarding, enabling an inclusive and safe environment to the delivery teaching.
I have played key roles in the developments of new, flexible and innovative curriculum activities, in response to opportunities and demand.
I am an experienced external examiner and external moderator – for both colleges and universities.
