The Multi-Faith Centre hosted the Mayor of Derby’s annual Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 27 March. Over 60 guests attended the Centre to join Councillor Amar Nath for a celebration of the last twelve months. There was excitement and heartache at the Multi-Faith Centre on Saturday 7 May, as footballers did battle for the annual Community Cup. Fourteen teams from across Derby took part in the event, including students, community groups and police officers. The six-a-side tournament was organised by the Multi-Faith Centre and the University of Derby’s Islamic Society, and was supported by Derbyshire Constabulary.
